V-400 Series Timers - Stopwatch and Timing on a single display.

The V-400 series of stopwatch clocks is a new range of digital clocks with either one or two built-in stopwatch / timers, housed in a single case. They are ideal for Classrooms, Sports Halls, Hospital Operating Theatres where procedure timing can be critical, Legislative Debating Chambers - and indeed in any situation where having an ad-hoc timer available may be useful. Versions are available with time plus one or two stopwatch displays and are based on our V-401 HH:MM:SS clocks (V-411) or V-420 HH:MM (V-422).

The V-400 Stopwatch-Clock range is available with the standard range of enclosures, suitable for surface wall mounting, flush mounting in a panel where the clock is pushed in from the front and fixed from behind, solid wall mount with a back-box or with ceiling suspension and in a range of case colours and finishes. You can also specify bright blue, green, red or yellow LED digits that are viewable at distances of up to 20m – 60ft. The upper (clock) display can be programmed by the user to show the time-of-day, date or temperature or to alternate between time and date or time and temperature.

A high stability crystal ensures precision timekeeping and the time-of-day can also be synchronised from an external time reference or master clock using one of many time code references including GPS, GLONASS, DCF77, MSF and NTP.

The single or dual multi-function, split action, stopwatch can be controlled by:

• The IR handset supplied
• External voltage free switch contacts
• By means of a wired V-496E (single stopwatch) or V-497E (dual stopwatch) switch control panel

Multiple functions are available for the stopwatches:

• Switch between stopwatch, time and temperature (V-406 temperature sensor required)
• Count up (from zero), count down (stop at or through zero)
• Start - Stop - Start - Stop without hold function
• Start - Stop - Start - Stop with accumulative split times
• Start - Stop - Start - Stop with incremental split times
• Start - Stop - Start - Stop, alternate hold actions display incremental split time and rejoins accumulating count

• Minutes, seconds and 1/100th seconds
• Hours, minutes and seconds
• Minutes, seconds and 1/100th seconds changing to hours, minutes and seconds when count reaches one hour

4 Digit Models (V-422):

• Minutes and seconds
• Hours and minutes
• Minutes and seconds changing to hours and minutes when count reaches one hour or Minutes and seconds up to 99 minutes, 59 seconds
