DigiBox D2A - Low Cost SDI Demodulator for TV Monitor Use
An extremely cost effective SDI to Generic Multi-format 10 Bit Video Converter designed for in-line mounting behind a TV monitor. Miniature 5Volt ultra reliable SMPSU with 200K+ Hours MTBF.
Digibox D2A completely satisfies the requirements of a monitoring quality SDI Encoder, producing base band video signals of impressive quality. An internal DIP switch enables selection from ANY of these video OP formats:-
- Component Video (Y, Cr, Cb)
- Red, Green & Blue (R, G+s, B).
- Luminance + Chrominance (SVHS)
- Encoded, Composite Video. (CVBS)
- To either 525 or 625 TV Standard.
10-bit output video signals are passed through a relaxed specification interpolation filter, and brought to the D-9 connector. Vortex offer at low cost, a 0.5 metre long ferrite sleeved triple BNC loom that may be used to feed the TV monitor directly. Proprietary circuitry monitors the input SDI signal and flags certain errors, which may be used externally as an error warning, possibly via the monitor's TX Tally lamp.
