DigiLink is specifically designed to meet the need for a low cost, rugged, and simplified design for transporting broadcast-quality video and Ethernet across IP networks, direct fiber, and optical backbones.

A tightly integrated platform, it also offers uncompressed video-over-IP transport and integrated video and Ethernet switching.
The innovative design of the DLC205 Gig-E Aggregator and Optical Transceiver enables users to aggregate 9 channels, 5 external and 4 internal, of 10/100/1000 Ethernet traffic for transport across electrical or optical networks, all in a low cost, single slot DigiLink module. The module is fully nonblocking with a total capacity of 18 Gigabits of traffic and each port independently supports 10/100/1000 Ethernet. The four internal ports can be linked to other modules in a DigiLink chassis to provide internal Ethernet connectivity eliminating the need of external cabling. The DLC205 can be monitored and managed using DigiLink’s DL-Manager Element Management System.
Unlike more complicated designs that require dedicated trunking modules and switching matrixes, the DLC205 Gig-E Aggregator is compatible with all DigiLink chassis providing a simple, reliable, and low-cost solution for transporting video centric traffic and chassis management across Ethernet networks.
